Professional Policies
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
Last Updated: October 12, 2025
Bexar Coaching & Advisory is committed to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards in the delivery of coaching and advisory services. The following policies are designed to promote transparency, protect client confidentiality, and ensure quality and fairness in all engagements.
1. Confidentiality Policy
All coaching and advisory conversations are treated as confidential.
Information shared by clients during sessions will not be disclosed to any third party without explicit consent, except where disclosure is required by law or to prevent imminent harm.
Client materials, assessments, and records are securely maintained and accessible only to the coach. Summaries or insights used for professional learning or supervision are anonymized to protect client identity.
2. Ethical Standards
Bexar Coaching & Advisory adheres to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, which defines professional conduct, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and integrity in the coaching relationship.
For reference, the full ICF Code of Ethics is available here:
https://coachingfederation.org/ethics/code-of-ethics
In line with these standards:
Clients retain full responsibility for their own choices and actions.
The coach’s role is to facilitate growth, insight, and performance through structured inquiry and accountability.
The coach will not provide legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic advice.
3. Payment and Cancellation Policy
Session fees are due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Cancellations or reschedules require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments may be charged in full.
Multi-session or package engagements must be completed within the defined program period unless otherwise agreed.
All payment processing is securely handled through integrated third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or Squarespace Payments).
4. Coaching Approach and Scope
Coaching and advisory services are designed to support personal and professional development, not to replace counseling, therapy, or medical treatment.
If issues arise beyond the scope of coaching, clients may be referred to qualified professionals.
Each engagement begins with a clear definition of goals, scope, and success measures to ensure alignment and accountability.
5. Use of Assessments and Tools
Bexar Coaching & Advisory may use structured frameworks, reflective exercises, or assessment tools to support the coaching process.
All materials are used under proper license or within fair use, and clients will receive full transparency regarding how results are interpreted and applied.
6. Accessibility and Inclusion
Bexar Coaching & Advisory strives to ensure a professional and inclusive experience for all clients.
If you require accommodations to access services, please contact info@bexarcoaching.com. Every effort will be made to meet accessibility needs within reasonable means.
7. Professional Development and Supervision
To ensure continued growth and accountability, the coach participates in regular professional development, peer supervision, and continuing education in accordance with ICF standards.
